Rebekah Killim - September-October Athlete Of The Month

Rebekah attends Monroe Elementary school where her favorite subject
is Math. Rebekah has been involved in Special Olympics for 2 years. Her
favorite events are horseshoes and bocce. The person she most
admires is her teacher, Mrs. Tolbert.
Rebekah loves Special Olympics because it is much fun and her most
memorable time is winning and getting her ribbons and going to
Stillwater. Rebekah is very excited about attending the upcoming
OU basketball clinic in Norman.

Devin Glasgow September - October Partner Of The Month

Devin attends Enid High School where he is a Senior. His favorite
subject is Coop PE. He has been involved in Special Olympics for 8
years. His favorite events are Unified volleyball, soccer and
horseshoes.
Devin likes Special Olympics because it give him a chance to meet and
interact with new friends. His most memorable time was when the Enid
High School volleyball team won the Unified Volleyball competition last
year.
The person Devin most admires is a new friend from Special
Olympics--Colin Warfield.
Coach Of The Month
Jamie Hromas September - October Coach Of The Month

Coach Jamie Hromas is an Adapted Physical Education teacher for Enid
Public Schools. She is also the newest member of the Cherokee Strip Special
Olympics Area Management Team. Jamie has been involved in Special Olympics
for 3 years, where her most memorable event is dancing with her student
Ariana at the Art and Music Festival last year. Jamie likes Special Olympics
because of the joy it brings to special needs children and adults. Her
favorite event is Track and Field. She most admires her mom for all her
years as a Special Olympics volunteer. Jamie is honored to be a Special
Olympics coach and is looking forward to many more years of service.
