Misty KaufmanMisty Kaufman
Junior, Enid High School

Misty has been participating in Special Olympics for 9 years. She participates in bowling, basketball, volleyball, art, music, golf, bocce and track and field. Her favorite sport is basketball.

Misty’s most memorable time at Special Olympics is when she was so excited to play Horseshoes, she threw the shoe straight into the air—no one was hurt! Her favorite subject at school is Cooperative P.E. and she most admires her dad.

Misty loves Special Olympics because she gets to be with her friends and she loves the competition.


Dillon WichertDillon Wickert
6th Grade Monroe Elementary, Enid

Dillon has been involved in Special Olympics for the past few years. He participates in bowling, volleyball, bocce and track and field. His favorite event is track and field. Dillon love going riding horseback with his parents. His favorite subject is physical education. Dillon admires John Wayne.

Dillon most enjoys Special Olympics so he can go and hang out with his friends from Enid High School.


Michelle HendersonMichelle Henderson
Senior, Enid High School

Michelle has been a Unified Partner for 2 years. She has competed in volleyball, softball, bocce, bowling and horseshoes. Bocce has been her favorite Special Olympics sport. Michelle’s favorite memory of Special Olympics was Summer Games in 2003 and what memories there are!

Michelle’s favorite subject in school is Cooperative P.E. and she most admires Coach Susan Glasgow. Michelle enjoys being a Unified Partner because she likes spending time with the athletes. "We have so much fun together and they’re great people." Michelle feels like Coop PE has taught her much and introduced her to new and wonderful people. Michelle is also a member of the Enid High School Band.


Jayme ColvilleJayme Colville
Senior, Enid High School

Jayme has been a Unified Partner in Special Olympics for 4 years. She has participated in basketball, volleyball, softball, bocce, soccer, bowling and horseshoes. Softball is her favorite sport to compete in.

Jayme’s favorite memory of Special Olympics was when she won Special Olympics Partner of the Year. The person she most admires is her grandmother who started her interest in Special Olympics.

Jayme likes being a Unified Partner because no matter win or lose, you always have fun. Everyone goes home with a smile on their face. She likes making friends in Special Olympics because they make her smile J

Jayme loves her English classes and is a member of the Enid High School Band. She also plays softball in her spare time.


James RowlandJames Rowland
Senior, Enid High School

James has been participating as a Unified Partner for 2 years. He has competed in volleyball, bocce, basketball, soccer, softball, bowling and horseshoes, his favorite being basketball and softball. James has also been a basketball coach for Special Olympics. James’ favorite memory is receiving the Inspiring Greatness Award at the 2003 Special Olympics Banquet.

James most admires his Grandparents. His favorite subject in school is English. He is also a member of the Varsity Football team. James like being a Unified Partner because he love being around special people who mean a lot to him.
